Viva Pinata Help - Tips

I have a few pointers for those playing Viva Pinata...

1. Make your sour pinatas into residents (taming them) when they appear. You will get the sour tower piece for free once they become a resident. I paid for 5 pieces of the tower before I discovered this. When trying to tame your sours watch them while they are in your garden. He could drop sour candy that you'll need to smash so have your shovel handy. But if you don't have everything you need to make the sour a resident. You can hit it one time with the shovel to stun it while you get what you need.

1. Sour Shelly Bean - Appears in level 4, Visits in level 5. Tame him by putting out an apple seed for him to eat.

2. Sour Sherbat - Appears in level 9, Visits in level 10. Tame him by growing a pumpkin and then getting it tinkered by Bart's Exchange into a jack-o-lantern for him to eat.

Mothers Day

Yesterday was a great Mother's Day. I was able to just relax and play Viva Pinata all day. My DH made me lunch. My DKs emptied the dishwasher for me. It was really nice. I really felt good all day. I want to say thanks to my hubby and kids for just taking care of me for the day.

By the way Viva Pinata is really fun and challenging. I've earned 480 achievement points on it already. But I couldn't have done some of those without the help of GameSpot.com there is a 75 page walkthrough/faq guide that I downloaded here. It really helps to read it. Of course I haven't read the whole thing. I've skipped around here and there looking for certain info. Once I find it then I want to hurry up and get back to my game to use the information.

Digital scrapbooking

Something I want to learn. I've joined some yahoo groups on digital scrapbooking. I intend to try to make my first page soon. I've done paper scrapbooking for about 9 years. I think going digital would clear up some of the clutter in my home. I'll clutter up the computer. It takes up less space. LOL.

Part of the problem: There are so many things I want to spend time on. I don't have enough time to do them all. I'm also trying to earn some money online with my websites. My oldest site is www.sims2fansite.com . I haven't spent enough time bringing it current. I really want to get some downloads on the site. So, I'm learning to recolor Sims 2 objects. Another. It takes a some time though.

I have a house to clean. A bunco party to host. Yard work to do. An easy set pool to set up. Kids to take care of. Stuff to sell on Ebay. etc...

My 1st grade son is getting student of the month tomorrow. I'm so excited for him. He's going to be so suprised. He's worked so hard on improving at school.

Then of course my new obsession with the xbox 360 viva pinata game.

So, you are probably wondering what I'm doing on here blogging then. Well, I can't help it. I need to tell someone. It's my new way to vent. thanks for listening. ;)

Xbox 360 Addiction and Achievement Points

I have to admit I am getting addicted to the xbox 360. Yesterday, I had some free time so I decided to check out a trial version of Viva Pinata. It turns out it is nothing like I thought.

It's a simulation game where you have to grow a garden and maintain it. There are several species of pinatas that you can attract to your garden. Once they decide to become residents in the garden you name them. You can romance them to reproduce and more. There are different characters in the game that help you out. There is a doctor for when your pinatas residents get sick. You can sell your plants to the lady in the village. There is a builder that will build houses for your residents. There is so much to do in the game. It is far from boring.

I ended up playing for over three hours. Now, I've decided I like it so much that I'm going to buy it. Since they don't have Sims on Xbox 360 yet. I'll play Viva Pinata instead. I really like it. Plus, the kids can play it. So, many 360 games are violent fighting games and there aren't many family games for the younger crowd. So, I'm glad that I found a game we can all play when we want to relax. Plus, we can get lots of achievement points for our family gamer score!
